My dad named me James just in case I became Prime Minsiter - a good solid name, he said.
Sadly, the closest I came to that was becoming Mayor of The Salisbury Pub on FourSquare.
By day, I’m a London-based digital product developer with 15 years of experience that ranges from working with the largest UK media properties to the smallest (but very ambitious) tech start ups.
[Edit - I'm currently working on launching Crank Publishing Ltd]
My real love is for creating product, content and marketing strategies around brand new digital properties and I love to flex my tech skills as much as my design and management skills.
Everything I do I approach from a creative point of view and I’m as happy presenting to a 1000 strong conference audience as I am pitching to a handful of the world’s preeminent VCs.
During my stint at News International (publishers of The Times and The Sun newspapers in the UK) I was directly responsible for launching multi-award winning digital products, managed teams of up to 25 people, launched the digital content and product strategy for TheLondonPaper, was nominated for a Bafta for The Month CD and DVD Rom and produced a DVD series with Gordon Ramsay.
My other loves are photography and my burgeoning guitar collection (I play them sometimes, too!).
